Sally Buemi
Candidate for Selectman

Sally Buemi is currently serving her second term on the Board of Selectmen in the Town of North Haven.  

She is a native of North Haven, a North Haven High School graduate, and a graduate of UCONN with a bachelor's degree in political science. She received a law degree from Western New England College and a master's in public administration from UCONN.  

Sally is a lawyer, and opened her law office in Montowese in 1985.

She was elected to and served on the North Haven Board of Finance from 1985 to 1989.  

Sally served on the Community Services Commission.  She was a head softball coach for North Haven junior girls softball for six years, and a
volunteer for the Boy Scouts, teaching history and citizenship. She was
also a private tutor for the North Haven Board of Education, teaching
history and a volunteer instructor for the Future Problem Solvers Program at the Middle School and Clintonville School. 

Sally is well known in town for her dedication to fiscal responsibility and her pride in our community. Sally makes a point to prepare a great deal in advance for Board meetings.  She thinks through each decision, votes carefully, and does not take her responsibility lightly.
